Technology renewals for home, family and business

Get a like-for-like comparison before you sign another term.

A renewal is a commitment to another term, and the easiest moment to check whether it still fits. Send Kritical your renewal notice and get a real comparison — same devices, same term, same responsibilities, not a discounted guess built to win your business on price alone.

Three situations that bring people here.

A renewal notice is often the first real prompt to check the whole arrangement.

  1. An antivirus or endpoint renewal

You want CrowdStrike Falcon Complete compared against your current product, tier by tier, device for device.

  2. A software or platform renewal

Quantities have probably drifted since the last term started, and nobody has checked.

  3. A support or managed-service renewal

You want to know exactly what is covered and who owns the operational work, before you commit again.

Start with the renewal notice.

Provide the product, current scope, quantity, due date and term. If you have several renewals, list them together so dependencies and timing can be understood.

  • Software renewal Review the licence quantities and commitment terms alongside current use. Learn more
  • Support renewal Confirm the systems covered, response arrangement and who owns the operational work. Learn more

Compare the whole scope.

Send the renewal notice, current scope, quantity, end date and concerns. Kritical compares licensing, managed service, implementation and transition work before you recommit, so a lower headline number is never mistaken for the same actual service. There is no fixed price for a renewal comparison itself — what it costs to switch, if anything, depends on the products, seat or device count and term you are renewing, and we quote once we receive your notice.

If your current deal is already fair, we say so.

We are not trying to win every renewal on price alone. If your existing arrangement is fair for the coverage it provides, that is what we will tell you.

Leave time for a change.

Tell us the renewal and cancellation dates early. We can then consider technical migration, data retention, access and handover before any supplier commitment is changed.

What a renewal comparison includes.

Not just a competing price on the same line item.

  1. A like-for-like comparison in writing

Same devices, same term, same response commitments — set out clearly enough that you can defend the decision internally.

  2. A transition plan, if you decide to change

Migration, data retention, access and handover are planned before anything with your current supplier is cancelled.

  3. An honest answer if nothing should change

If the current arrangement is already fair, you get that answer.

What to have ready before you send your notice.

The more you include up front, the faster the comparison comes back.

  1. The renewal notice or current quote

The product, provider, quantity and pricing as they stand today.

  2. The dates that matter

Renewal date, cancellation notice period and any contract end date.

  3. What is working, and what is not

Any service issues or coverage gaps worth factoring into the comparison.

What happens once we have your renewal notice.

A renewal comparison follows a predictable shape from here.

  1. The first call

A short conversation to confirm scope and quantities — no obligation to switch while we check the comparison.

  2. The comparison, in writing

You get the like-for-like proposal in writing before any decision is needed, so it can be reviewed properly.

  3. The agreed transition phase

If you do change supplier, migration, data retention and handover are agreed and completed before your old service is cancelled.

Questions before you enquire

How early should we start?

Start as soon as you have the renewal notice. Cancellation terms, migration work, data retention and supplier lead times can limit the available choices close to the end date.

Can Kritical compare more than the licence price?

Yes. We separate the product, quantity, term, managed service, implementation, support and transition work so you can compare the whole commitment.

What should we send?

Send the renewal notice or quote, the products and quantities in use, the renewal and cancellation dates, and anything you want to change. Do not include passwords or payment card details.

Will switching always be cheaper?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. We quote a genuine like-for-like replacement and tell you plainly if your current arrangement already represents fair value.

How fast will we get the comparison back?

We confirm the comparison scope and expected timing after reviewing the renewal notice, products, quantities, term and current responsibilities.

Can you handle several renewals from different suppliers at once?

Yes. List them together with their dates, and we will factor in how they depend on each other rather than comparing each one in isolation.
