Apple devices arrived faster than the policy did
Leadership or a technical team standardised on Mac, and IT is catching up on management after the fact.
Enterprise engineering
When Macs and other Apple devices sit outside the normal identity, application and support process, coverage is inconsistent and nobody owns the exceptions. Kritical connects them into a usable workplace with clear ownership across Apple and Microsoft services, so IT stops treating them as an exception.

Apple positions Apple Business Manager as the hub for assigning devices to a management server, buying apps and content in bulk, and creating managed accounts for staff, so a device can ship straight to an employee without being imaged first. Apple also builds a management framework directly into macOS, iOS and iPadOS, and frames its devices as usable alongside a dedicated mobile device management platform such as Jamf rather than dependent on one. You don't have to guess which pieces you need turned on; we work out that shortlist against your identity and application estate before recommending a configuration.

Two device families, two sets of assumptions, and users caught in the gap.
A workaround exists; nobody has documented its limitations or its support cost.
Identify the applications, peripherals, access requirements and support needs of the people using Apple devices. A mixed workplace needs more than a hardware specification: it needs a clear path through enrolment, sign-in, configuration and everyday work. A small representative rollout can expose workflow and support issues before the organisation commits to a broader deployment.
Establish which devices are company-owned, how they're enrolled and who controls configuration and software deployment. We review the relevant device-management platform, account arrangements and recovery responsibilities. Procurement, Apple service enrolment and third-party subscriptions depend on the organisation's eligibility and commercial arrangements and are confirmed separately from the technical design.

We work across both platforms, not just the one that's easier to sell.
Microsoft 365, identity, networks, certificates, file access and required business applications tested as one workflow, not two separate projects.
Where an application needs an alternative access method on Mac, we document the user experience and support implications before a wider rollout.
We aim to provide continuity through a consistent lead or delivery group where the agreed scope and service model support it. Your proposal sets out the contact model, cover and handover arrangements that apply.
A scoped assessment or rollout is quoted in writing. The operating process explains how a device is prepared, issued, updated, recovered and reassigned, and handover can include configuration records, an onboarding checklist and support instructions for common issues.
Select and prepare devices around the person, role, applications and access they need.
Enrol and configure identity, settings, software and required connections before handover.
Manage and secure the fleet through agreed policies, updates, access and recovery responsibilities.
Support and hand over a usable device record, support route and replacement or departure process.

We can scope the integration and operational requirements across both platforms, including the interfaces with identity and business applications.
Compatibility must be checked for the actual application and use case. Where an alternative is needed, its limitations and support requirements should be tested.
Procurement can be discussed alongside the project. Device availability, pricing, enrolment eligibility and subscriptions are confirmed through the relevant commercial process.
Depends on the estate size and the controls you need. We assess against Apple's built-in management framework and a dedicated MDM platform before recommending one.
Yes, within limits. User Enrollment-style approaches separate business and personal data, and we scope what that means for support and security before it's relied on.
